Rina Stagnaro

September 25, 1925 ~ March 12, 2018 (age 92)
Rina was born and raised with her sister Lydia in Oakland, California. During WWII she was proud to have worked at Standard Oil supporting the war effort. Rina met and married Fred Stagnaro (Stag) in 1948. They were married for 62 years until Stag's passing in 2009. She is survived by her sons, Fred Jr. (Susie) and Frank (Colleen). Her son Steve preceded her in death. She was loved by her grandchildren Megan (John) Moffat, Brett Stagnaro, Vinnie Stagnaro, Tony Stagnaro and great grandson Rory Moffat. Rina was proud of her Italian heritage, was a wonderful cook, enjoyed traveling and spending summers at the family cabin in Lake County. Her cherished time with family and friends always included laughter and fun. The family would like to thank the owners and staff of Queens Care Homes during the last years of her life for their loving care and attentiveness.

Rina's memory will remain forever in our hearts.

Those wishing to make a donation in Rina's memory please consider Alzheimer's Association of Northern California or a charity of your choosing.
