Marjorie M. Berberich, 95, of San Ramon, CA, passed away February 20th, 2022. Marjorie was born in Oshkosh, Nebraska on November 14th, 1926. Marge graduated from St. Elizabeth’s High School in Oakland, CA. Marge was married to Eddie on June 20th, 1948. Marge was The President of the Council of Catholic Women in Hinsdale, IL. Marge was also a Loyal Member of “Sew and Sews” Sewing Club, a Volunteer at Mercy Retirement Center and St. Mary's Center in Oakland, CA, and a Volunteer Fund Raiser for St. Elizabeth’s High School. Marge had a passion for Sewing, Gardening, Cooking, her children and grandchildren.
Marge is survived by her Children, Sue (Daniel) Rutkowski, Daniel (Debra) Berberich, John (Christine) Berberich, Gary (Suzan) Berberich, Linda Street, Kenneth (Janice) Berberich, and Charlie Berberich. Siblings, Theresa (John) Nagy, Virginia (Jack) O’Connel, Roseann (Will) Parish, Larry (Elaine) Goetsch, Florence (Condrad) Hitch, and Jim (Jeanne) Goetsch. Marge is also survived by 14 Grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
Marge enjoyed sewing, Marge made her own wedding gown, as well as, all her bridesmaid gowns. Marge also won a Bernina Sewing Machine for a sewing contest in San Francisco for sewing an entire suede outfit. Marge also enjoyed gardening both beautiful flower gardens admired by all, as well as, delicious tomatoes and vegetables that she shared with all!
Viewing will be held at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, located in 2601 San Ramon Valley Blvd., San Ramon, CA 94583 on Sunday, February 27, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm.. A Mass will be held at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, located in 2601 San Ramon Valley Blvd., San Ramon, CA 94583 on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 10:30 am. Then, following a Burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward, CA.
