Julie Christine Bryant, age 50, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 surrounded by family and friends. Julie was born March 7, 1969 in Whittier, California, and was raised in Huntington Beach, where she attended Edison High School. After high school, she went on to graduate from Chico State University in 1994. During the summers and after Chico State University, Julie lived in Tahoe where she was a blackjack dealer and loved the outdoors. Julie moved to San Francisco soon after to focus on a professional career in sales. She worked for Pacific Bell, then United Telecom, where she would meet her husband and start the next chapter in her beautiful life. Julie moved from San Francisco to Livermore, California in 2000, and married Kevin Bryant in July 2003. In 2005, Julie and Kevin welcomed their son, Blake Bryant, and in 2008, they welcomed their daughter, Brooke Bryant. In 2005, Julie decided to sacrifice her career to be a stay-at-home mom and raise her children – it was her “proudest job”. In 2012, Julie and family moved to Danville, California. Danville brought so much joy to Julie from her dream home, to a sense of community, to her new found friends – she was where she belonged. Growing up in Southern California started Julie’s life-long love for the ocean, beach, sun and outdoors. Julie had a love for life and adventure with interests in physical fitness, triathlons, marathons, parties, friends, wine, houseboating, dancing, traveling, but most of all, her kids and family. Family was Julie’s everything and was her priority in life. Julie lived a full life in a way too short period of time. She will be forever missed and loved. Julie is survived by Kevin her husband and their children Blake (14) and Brooke (10), as well as Kathy and Terry Anderson (parents), Michelle Bloom (sister), Jessica Bloom (niece), Martha and DeWayne Bryant (parents-in-law), and Kelli Millette (sister-in-law) and family (Pat, Jack, Claire & Josephine Millette). Mass and Celebration of Julie’s Entrance Into Heaven, will be held at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 440 La Gonda Way, Danville, California on Tuesday, July 9, 2019, at 10:30am, by Father Gerry Moran. A reception will follow the service at St. Isidore. In lieu of flowers, Julie’s family requests that donations be made in her memory to High Kicks for High Hopes – Julie Bryant Cancer Foundation, ℅ Kevin Bryant, 1 Southwick Place, Danville, CA 94526. Julie’s foundation will support women fighting gynecological cancers. In true Julie fashion, she requested that black not be worn to her funeral mass, but instead for family and friends to don their favorite colors as we celebrate her entrance into heaven.
