Jeffery Lance Howard, 45, passed away during the early morning hours of Tuesday at home in his sleep. He was an amazing person to go through all of life’s ups and downs and so many adventures with.
Jeff was born in San Diego CA, 5th out of 8 children. He started his career as a union painter, but went back to school and earned his A.S. degree in Instrumentation Technology. Ultimately, he ended up as a plumber and loved every minute of it. Most recently he was also serving as a caretaker for his father-in-law. He was the perfect combination of grizzly and teddy bear who spoke freely and gave freely. He was extremely protective and he loved his family hard. He wouldn’t hesitate to give you advice and criticism but it always came with the best encouragement. He got bored easily and liked to try new things. Jeff was stubborn, but intelligent, very handy, jovial, funny, charismatic, loving, determined, and generous.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 21 years, Linda; mother, Carolyn Urias of Modesto, CA; sister, Lesa Diehm of Marshall MO; brother, Bodie Green of Marshall, MO; brother, John Butcher of Glasgow, MO; sister, Crystal Noamesi of Marshall, MO; sister, Sara Howard of Marshall, MO; sister Diana Howard of Modesto, CA; father-in-law, Monnachie Tamraz of Antioch, CA; mother-in-law, Mariam Tamraz of San Francisco, CA; sister-inlaw Jeanne Blumenschein of Puyallup, Wa; 25 nieces and nephews, 6 step siblings and many friends. He was preceded in death by older brother, Eddie Butcher; paternal grandmother, Alma Howard; maternal grandmother, Viola Weekley; maternal grandfather, Calvin Green.
