Doree Ann Loesch

December 4, 1945 ~ October 14, 2019 (age 73)


Doree Ann Loesch loving wife, mother, Nanna, and sister passed away at the age of 73. Doree was born in San Francisco, CA to Edward & Jean Marnell. Doree grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area where she fell in love with the ocean, she would always say she’s a water baby. On July 25, 1980 She fell in love and married Donald Charles Loesch. Between the two of them they in combination had 7 children, 4 Daughters Kathleen, Lisa, Deborah, and Kerri and 3 sons Gary, Bruce and Chris. Doree had a passion for painting, birds and gardening, she combined all her favorite passions to create extraordinary art. She believed creativity is in everything and expressed that through everything she did. She expressed the love she had for her family and friends not only with her words but in her cooking. Doree was an exceptional cook and a great dancer. There was always music playing while she was cooking and she would dance magic into her cooking. She loved dancing so much she incorporated it in everything she did throughout her life. She was a lover of all music but deep down she was a rock n' roller at heart. “Everyone has their story to tell.” Doree was much admired for her ability to talk and listen. Her kind and compassionate spirit enabled others to want to share their story. Her infectious laugh was contagious and made you want to laugh right along with her. Doree was the matriarch; the heart and soul of her Family; she was a lover of life. She will be deeply missed. Doree was proceeded in death by her Father Edward, Mother Jean, Brother Brian and her youngest Daughter Kerri. She is survived by Daughters: Kathleen Martin, Lisa Torres, and Deborah Dir Sons: Gary Loesch, Bruce Loesch (Pam) and Chris Bishop. Brother: Randy Marnell (India) Sister: Kay Marnell Grandchildren: Kayla Solis (Marc) Robert Martin, Brittany Loesch Christopher Loesch, Hannah Martin-Marquina, Ethan Solis, and Emily Rose. Great-grandchildren: Colton Dilbeck, Jorge Marquina-Martin and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Service and/or Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
