Don Loesch, 87, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and loved ones on October 28, 2021, at his home. Don was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Don was a long time resident of San Ramon.
Don is the son of Arthur Loesch and Barbara Wallerstein, whom both have predeceased him.
Don is predeceased by his loving wife, Doree Loesch. Don and Doree were married July 1980. They loved spending time at the ocean, and took many trips to Carmel, where he proposed to her! He loved her cooking, and often said "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach!" They loved dancing together until the end! They shared family and together created many memories for their children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and friends!
Don was active throughout his life, and enjoyed many activities, including water skiing, snow skiing, boating and other sports. He was a sports fan, but especially he loved his 49ers, Golden State Worriors, San Francisco Giants, Oakland A's, and was a season ticket holder for many years. He had a great sense of humor, and told corny jokes, such as "I was in a movie once. It was called Breakfast in Bed. I didn't have a big role, just a cup of coffee!" He also had impressive foot work on the dance floor, and did a mean Charlie Chaplin impersonation.
Don is survived by his sons Gary Loesch, Bruce Loesch, Chris Bishop; daughters Lisa Torres, Kami Martin, Deborah Dir, Kerri Dir (deceased); grandchildren Rhiannon Loesch, Kayla Dilbeck, Bobby Martin, Brittany Loesch, Christopher Loesch, Hannah Martin, Ethan Solis, and Emily Torres.
Don was the cornerstone and rock, who provided for and supported his family! He is very much loved, appreciated, and is a person people looked up to and sought for advice! He will be missed very much. He will forever be remembered in our hearts! We Love You!
