Angie passed away on Monday. She touched many lives and was an inspiration with a positive, dynamic personality and a fighting spirit. Angie was born in Mexico City and moved to Oakland when she was 7 years old. She graduated from Oakland High School and studied Child Development at Chabot College while working as a bilingual teacher's aid for the Hayward Unified School District. She enjoyed dancing and was an Arthur Murray dance instructor. Angie served as a Charter Member of the Board of Directors for the Danny Foundation for nearly two decades helping to establish crib safety regulations. Her proudest contribution to the Danny Foundation was her work with the Second Chance Thrift Store in Alamo.
She was a devoted mother and a loving grandma. She was a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts and Troop Leader for the Girl Scouts. She enjoyed attending and participating with all of her children's activities.
Angie is survived by her loving husband, Ron, and devoted children, Yvette (Michael) Batti of Danville, Jerry Campos of Concord, and Darrell (Christy) Campos of Alamo, and five grandchildren, Ryan, Sean, Tyler, Andrew, and Joshua. They called her "Lita". She was a loving Aunt to all of her Nieces and Nephews. Her loving spirit will be missed by all who knew her.
Friends and Family are invited to a Visitation on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 4 PM to 8 PM with a Rosary at 7 PM at Wilson and Kratzer Chapel of San Ramon Valley, 825 Hartz Way in Danville, and a Funeral Service on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 10:30 AM at St. Isidore's Church, 440 La Gonda Way in Danville.
